Linus Doll Speaking At Byron Historical Society Meeting

Beloved local newspaper columnist, Linus Doll, will be the featured speaker at the Byron Historical Society meeting on Monday, December 19, at 7:00p.m., at the Byron Town Hall, N3097 Highway 175, Byron.  After over one-hundred personal interest columns that started with a letter to the Fond du Lac Reporter editor in 2008, Mr. Doll’s reflections on life in the area have become a favorite feature of readers across the region.  His remarks to the gathering later this month will include a look back on his “accidental career” as a writer.  He will also take questions from the audience.

The Byron Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the understanding of the lives and times of the people of the Town of Byron so that present and future generations may understand, appreciate, and learn from these Americans.  Additional information available on the Byron Historical Society website at www.townofbyron.com/historical-society  or on Facebook.  Interested parties may also call 920.583.3083 or email byronhistorical@att.net.
