Child Porn Charges Brought Against Waupun Man

Two new charges have been brought against a 27-year-old Waupun man already suspected of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old boy. Robert Moungey made an initial appearance in Dodge County Court this week on two counts of possession of child pornography. Bond was set at $50,000 cash and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for next Thursday. Moungey has a two-day jury trial is scheduled January 25th and 26th for a charge of being party to the crime of 1st degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12.  His wife, Cassandra Scheuers, is facing the same charge. 

Ripon Company Cited For Safety Violation

A federal agency has cited a Ripon company for a repeated safety violation. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration had inspectors from their Appleton office visit Alliance Laundry Systems after a folding machine crushed an employee’s hand. As a result of the injury a 50-year-old man had to have a finger amputated. Inspectors say a safety guard on the machine was improperly installed. The company was cited for a similar violation in 2011 and could be facing a $51,000 fine for the newest violation.

Agnesian Officer Included In List Of Women Leaders To Know

Nancy Birschbach, vice president and chief information officer for Agnesian HealthCare, has been named by Becker’s Hospital Review to its annual list of 130 women hospital and health system leaders to know. The 130 women, who are executives at hospitals and health systems across the nation, have established themselves as successful leaders within the ever-changing healthcare industry. Birschbach has served in multiple health information technology roles since joining Agnesian HealthCare in 1998.
