September 10, 2015 at approximately 7:11pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a single motor vehicle crash on

where the vehicle then rolled causing the 2 occupants to be ejected from the vehicle. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene

Oshkosh Police Department says that 20-year-old Tyler S. Peterson died after a
fall off of a five-story building at the Vista Retirement Community at
Wednesday afternoon. The Oshkosh PD,
Winnebago County Corner’s Office and OSHA continue to investigate the accident.
Fondue Fest
More than 20,000 people are
expected in fill the streets of historic downtown
Saturday. The family event features,
music, food, vendors and fun. Dusty Krikau of the Downtown Fond du Lac
Partnership says there will be three music stages running all day, before the
entertainment shifts to Thelma Sadoff Center For The Arts for two more concerts
including The Back Home Boys at 5pm. Of
course you can’t have a Fondue Fest without Fondue as always being served up by
the MPTC Culinary Students starting at 10am. The event runs from 9am to 5pm and

YScreen Testing Helps Kids
Identifying and helping
those young people who may be contemplating suicide is the focus of the Fond du
Lac Y-Screen Program. Lindsey Bruins of
the
Program helps identify kids who may not directly be reaching out for help. She
says about 1 in 5 struggle with mental health issues and only about 1 in 3 seek
help. The 40 question survey that kids
voluntarily take can help identify kids in need of support. Bruins says a recent survey found that about
17% of those that took the survey of 8th, 10th, and 11th graders reported
seriously considering suicide. That’s down from 26% in 2004. Since 2002 more
than 10,000 students have taken the survey and about 1800 have been connected
with support services. This week is
Suicide Prevention Week.
Packer Pride
(WRN) The Green Bay Packers
are asking fans to wear green and gold on Fridays to help build hype for each
week’s game. Team president Mark Murphy says many people already do that, but
the organization wanted to make it a bigger deal. Murphy says fans who post
pictures will also be eligible for prizes from the Packers Pro Shop.
