SMSA Building Project Impacting Enrollment

Anticipation
of a single campus on the Ledge in Fond du Lac
for the St. Mary’s Springs
Academy
has helped boost
enrollment. SMSA Interim President Kelly Norton says they had about 725
students last year, 775-780 this year and expect about 800 for next year. She
says part of that increase in enrollment is likely due to the $24 million
building project which broke ground this week.

She says
they are averaging about a 9 percent growth in enrollment over the past few
years and she attributes a lot of that to the project. She says as people see
the construction going on they expect it may generate more growth in
enrollment.
