A recent survey showed fewer adults are smoking and sales of tobacco to youth had also declined, But Bernier says at the same time more children are smoking E cigarettes than ever before. She says that use has tripled. She says unfortunately some youth attracted to the candy-flavored taste of E cigarettes are taking a shortcut and drinking the liquid nicotine in the vials for E cigarettes and liquid nicotine is poisonous. She says the public should be concerned about the use of E cigarettes especially when it comes to access by youth.
