Low Turnout For Primary Election In FDL County

As expected there was a low voter turnout in Fond du Lac County for the primary election Tuesday. County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says 9 percent of the more than 62,000 registered voters in the County cast their ballots for a total turnout of 5,544. 



State Schools Superintendent Tony Evers collected 3,151 votes in the County with Lowell Holtz finishing second with 1,726 votes. Evers and Holtz also finished first and second in statewide voting and will face each other in April.  John Humphries got 495 votes and finished third in the County and across the state.
