Madison Man Waives Dodge County Hearing

A 26-year-old Madison man who used his car and his feet to flee from a Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy has been bound over for trial. Sean Johnson waived the right to a preliminary hearing this week. After a deputy stopped him in the Town of Emmet last December for erratic driving, Johnson at one point fled on foot back to his car and drove away. After driving about a mile he crashed his vehicle into a ditch. He had been smoking marijuana when the deputy pulled him over. Johnson was on probation at the time.
