Man Injured in Fall fromTree Stand in Town of Rosendale

A
45 year old man from West Salem suffered serious injuries after falling from a
tree stand in the Town of Rosendale
Monday afternoon. Fond du Lac
County
Sheriff’s deputies
along with Ripon Ambulance and Rosendale Fire Department and First Responders
were called just after 3pm to the area between Bell School Road and Davis Road for a report of a man falling
from a tree stand. The man, identified as Jason L. Wahoske, was located near
the edge of a soybean field. Flight for Life responded to the scene and
transported him to Theda Clark Medical
Center in Neenah with serious injuries. The
investigation shows the two cables holding up the seat of the deer stand
snapped, causing Wahoske to fall around 19 feet. He was able to contact a
friend and the Fond du Lac
County Dispatch
Center
to report the
fall. Authorities say Wahoske did not appear to be wearing a harness.
