Man Sentenced for Dealing Cocaine, Hiding Cocaine in Rectum

A Fond du Lac man is sentenced to six and a half years behind bars for cocaine-related charges. 28-year old Isaiah Potts will also spend eight years on extended supervision for possession with intent to deliver cocaine, delivery of cocaine, and felony bail jumping. He was arrested after a pair of deals, where he sold a total of two grams of cocaine. During a search at the Fond du Lac County Jail, officers found 5.3 grams of cocaine hidden in his rectum – which an officer compared to the size of a golf ball. District Attorney Eric Toney argued for a serious sentence because the way Potts concealed the drugs was “an indicator of sophisticated drug dealing,” that should be dealt with accordingly.
