Man to Stand Trial After Reportedly Stealing from Holy Hill

A Washington County man will stand trial – after allegedly stealing more than $50,000 from Holy Hill. 75-year old Pierre Vaoldine faces two felony counts of Theft of Movable Property Greater than $10,000.
He was previously released on a $10,000 signature bond.
According to the criminal complaint, someone saw Valodine stealing money from the collection room, so Washington County deputies set up a hidden camera, which reportedly caught him in the act. He admitted to stealing $50,000 – but the church believes the full amount could be higher than $135,000.
Valodine will return to court on January 16th.
