Manion Resigns as Marian University President

The President of Marian University has resigned. According
to a press release, Dr. Andrew Manion, who has served as president of the
university since 2016, has resigned from the university to “pursue other
professional opportunities.” Officials at the school say they will “search for
a leader to continue the university’s efforts to bring excellence to its
students, faculty, staff and the Fond du Lac Community.”


“The Marian University Board of Trustees is thankful to Dr.
Manion for his service to Marian, its students, faculty, staff and
administrators,” the release said. “During his time at Marian University, Dr.
Manion has advanced the university’s mission to serve the students in the best
way possible to prepare them for professional service and leadership in our global
community.”
