Marian Capital Campaign
A capital campaign for the expansion of Marian University’s Science Building in Fond du Lac has raised $12 million. Tracey Milkowski is the Vice President for Advancement at Marian. She says they have raised $11 million for the renovation of the Science Building and another $1 million for student scholarship endowments. The goal is to raise $13 million. She says they would like to start construction on the new addition in January. She says they have to do the preparation work this fall first. She says the building was put up in the 1960s and is in need of an upgrade. She says it is something faculty and the Marian Community have sought for awhile. She says everybody has been very supportive of it. She says people can find out more about the capital campaign at Marian’s website. She says they hope to have the new addition completed by the end of 2018.
