Marian Students Participate In Pink Heals Tour

Marian University radiology technology students participated in the Pink Heals Tour, as it made a stop at the Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh on July 23.

The Pink Heals Tour, led by several pink fire trucks and police cars, travels across America in an effort to support breast cancer awareness and raise donations for breast cancer research. In addition, participants signing the pink fire truck are able to leave messages of support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer.

The nine Marian University students who participated include Samantha Austin of Crystal Falls, Mich.; Ashley Behnke of Crivitz, Wis.; Chelsie Block of Ogdensburg, Wis.; Elizabeth Elbe of Neenah, Wis.; Jennifer Johnson of Fond du Lac, Wis.; Rachel Keehan of Manitowoc, Wis.; Megan McGrath of Fond du Lac, Wis.; and Andrew Pulda of Kaukauna, Wis.

The Pink Heals Tour traveled throughout Wisconsin from July 14-24, and will continue its way throughout the nation. For more information about the Pink Heals Tour, visit http://www.pinkfiretrucks.org/
