Marian University Establishes Two New Colleges

Marian University in Fond du Lac has re-organized its academic structure from four schools to two colleges, in order to better serve students. This change creates the new College of the Professions from what had been separate schools of education, business, and nursing and health professions. This new college will be led by Dean Linda Matheson. The School of Arts and Sciences will now be the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters, and will be led by Dean Michelle Majewski. Former Dean of the School of Education, Kelly Chaney will now serve as Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate Education. In addition to this institutional reorganization, Marian University will also establish a new unit for adult and online studies. The search for a dean to lead this new unit is underway.
