Marian University Program Gets Nice Donation

FOND DU LAC, Wis. –U.S. Bank Foundation has awarded Marian University a $2,000 grant designated for the Working Families Program.


Marian University’s Working Families Program is one of the nation’s most comprehensive educational programs available to low income single parents. The Program offers single parent students with dependent children the opportunity to complete their bachelor’s degree and to break the cycle of poverty, thus empowering future generations. Since the Program began in 2002, more than 170 program participants have earned a bachelor’s degree!

Marian University was founded in 1936 by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes in Fond du Lac, Wis.
