Mayville Man Found Incompetent To Stand Trial For Drunken Driving Homicides

Friday morning a Dane County judge ruled that a 33-year-old Mayville man is not competent to stand trial in the drunken driving deaths of four people last fall. Brysen Wills is charged with 15 felony counts for a head-on Interstate crash last November. Four people, all in their 20’s were killed in the accident when Wills drove the wrong way on I-94 near Deerfield at speeds up 90 miles an hour with a state trooper in pursuit. His blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit. With Wills found incompetent to stand trial, the case has been suspended.
