Menasha Man Charged For FDL County High Speed Chase

The 33-year-old Menasha man who led Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies on a high speed chase last Friday night has been charged with fleeing from officers and possessing drug paraphernalia. Anthony Rivera made his initial appearance in Fond du Lac County Court Tuesday. Bond was set at $10,000 cash and he has a preliminary hearing on October 27th. The chase began on I-41 in the Town of Eldorado as a reckless driver complaint. The chase covered 13 miles ending at Highway 151 and Highway 49 outside of Waupun where Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and Waupun Police had put down tire deflation devices. With his tires deflated deputies boxed in his vehicle. Rivera allegedly went over 100 miles an hour during portions of the pursuit.
