Menomonee Falls Man Sentenced For Attacking State Trooper

The 21-year-old Menomonee Falls man who allegedly attacked a state trooper during a traffic stop in Dodge County has been sentenced to 20 months in prison and 3 years of extended supervision. Zachary Jach was recently sentenced on charges stemming from the June 27th incident.  During the traffic stop he backed into the trooper’s cruiser and while the trooper was trying to get out of it attacked the officer. Two witnesses subdued Jach while the trooper got out of the squad car. Jach told investigators he had reportedly become suicidal and wanted a cop to end it.
