Michels Family Hosts Breakfast on the Farm
The local family farm was
highlighted on Sunday morning as the Dan and Brenda Michels family hosted the
2015
on the Farm. Thousands of people
ventured out to the farm located on
Road
and take a look at how the family run farm operates. Brenda Michels tells KFIZ that they have
wanted to host the Breakfast on the Farm for years and this was finally the year
they got to do it. Michels says they
milk 180 to 200 cows daily and work 500 acres of land. Michels says they have five children and all
but one are involved in the day to day operation of the farm. They have owned the farm since 1981. The 2016
Breakfast on the Farm will be held at the J&J Pickart Farm in
Johnsburg.

Congressman Glenn Grothman volunteered his time at the Fond du Lac County Breakfast on the Farm.
The Michels’ family dog Rusty had no idea thousands of people were at the farm on Sunday morning.
