More CWD Cases Confirmed in Washington County

Another eleven cases of chronic wasting disease have been
confirmed on a Washington
County
deer farm. The
Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection quarantined the farm
back in March after a buck tested positive there. A team of state and federal
officials killed the remaining deer and elk on the farm last month. They also
killed 22 deer on a Bayfield County preserve in April after determining that they
had come from the Washington
County
farm.
