More Details Released On Armed Robbery And Shooting
More information was released late yesterday about the armed robbery and shooting incident on Double D Road in the Town of Auburn that happened Sunday morning. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say three men went to the residence. Two of them confronted a 31-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman who were sleeping in the residence. There were 9 other family members sleeping in the residence. During the armed robbery, the woman was physically assaulted and the man was punched. The woman was taken to St Agnes Hospital where she was treated and released. The victims and suspects knew each other. During the robbery one of the suspects shot the other suspect, a 23-year-old Milwaukee area man. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. The suspects fled the scene and were subsequently apprehended in Hartford. The Milwaukee man with the gunshot wound was taken to a Milwaukee area hospital with serious injuries. Two Milwaukee area men, ages 20 and 22-years-old, are in custody. Sheriff’s official say the robbery was not a random act and the public has no reason to believe they are in danger.
