Motor Home Was Being Used To Sell Marijuana

A 26-year-old Fond du Lac man will be facing charges for allegedly selling marijuana and pot byproducts out of a 40-foot motor home that was parked in the back parking area at the Eden Corner Express. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Captain Ryan Waldschmidt says Thursday the manager of the convenience store in the Village of Eden asked them to check on the mobile home, which had been parked there for a while. He says when a deputy spoke to the man and the woman in the mobile home he could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside. He took the man into custody on a warrant. The mobile home was held and with the help of the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group a search warrant was obtained. Waldschmidt says a search of the mobile home confirmed it was being used as a base of operations for drug sales. The search turned up marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, forms of manufactured marijuana including a liquid form and pills. Drug paraphernalia, cash and ledgers were also seized. The Fond du Lac man who owns the mobile home was arrested on a warrant, but will be facing numerous drug-related charges.
