Mount Calvary Man Makes Initial Appearance Related To Fatal Crash

19-year-old Jacob Zielicke of Mount Calvary
made an initial appearance in Fond
du Lac County Court on Thursday.  Zielicke faces a pair of felony charges of Homicide
by Intoxicated Use of A Vehicle With a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and
also Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle stemming from a car accident in
the early morning hours of August 15^th.  The criminal complaint alleges that Zielicke
was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck a culvert at a high rate of speed
on Lap Road
in the area of Golf Course Drive.  Jake Treptow was a passenger in the vehicle and
was pronounced dead at the scene.  A
preliminary hearing is set for January 28^th.
