MPTC Boot Camp Graduation

Moraine Park Technical College is proud to graduate two more classes from the Manufacturing Skills Academy. Six students graduated from the welding training and ten from the Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machinist training. In total, Moraine Park has had 132 students graduate from the Skills Academy since induction and, out of those, 85 percent are now employed.

Moraine Park’s Manufacturing Skills Academy offers 15-week boot camp sessions in either welding or CNC training. They were designed to combat the shortage of skilled manufacturing workers in Wisconsin. Moraine Park partners with many local manufacturing employers including Mayville Engineering Company (MEC), Integrity Saw & Tool, MBW Inc., Wyman Gordon Mayville Die & Tool, Brenner Tank and Kondex.
