Names Released In Dodge County Semis Accident

Dodge County Sheriff’s officials have released the names of the semi-truck drivers who were involved in an accident involving three big rigs late Wednesday morning. Two of the semis collided at the intersection of State Highway 33 and County Highway P in the Town of Herman. One of the trucks was carrying a 25,000 pound roll of steel that tumbled off a trailer into the path of a third semi. The driver of the third semi, 25-year-old Alexander Gross of rural Theresa is in critical, but stable condition at Froedtert Hospital. As for the other drivers; 34-year-old Michael Heeg of Appleton was taken to Hartford Hospital with minor injuries and 62-year-old Eugene Miszewski of Milwaukee was also treated for injuries. Investigators say Heeg failed to stop at the stop sign on County Highway P and hit Miszewski’s truck causing the roll of steel to be knocked off its trailer. Foggy conditions also may have contributed to the accident.
