National Night Out Tonight

A number of
police departments across the nation will be participating in the National
Night Out tonight. Fond du Lac Police Officer
Erik Foster says theirs will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fond du Lac County
Fairgrounds.  He says there will a bounce
house, face painting balloon animals, and Flight for Life will be there, and
evidence tent and a radar throw is also part of the fun and it is all for free.
In North Fond du Lac the National Night Out is
a free family pool party from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Village Pool. North Fond du Lac
Police Chief Darren Pautsch says it is a chance for people to meet their
officers and see them in a more positive light. He says too many times their
officers and showing up when something bad is happening. He says it is also an
opportunity to spend time with people you haven’t seen in a while and maybe
meet some new people. In Ripon National Night Out activities will be held in Barlow Park
beginning at 5 p.m.
