National Prescription Drug Take Back Week

A number of local law enforcement departments are taking part in
National Drug Drop Awareness Week. It focuses on the safe disposal of unneeded
prescription medications. Kim Mueller from the Fond du Lac County Health
Department says there are plenty of places to dispose of medication you no
longer need. Mueller adds that “when you’re
done with your medications and no longer need them, there is no point to keep
them because it is illegal to share prescription medications, even with family
members.” Drug Drop Awareness Week runs from Monday, April 16^th through
Saturday, April 28^th. Law enforcement agencies around Dodge County
will also hold a drop off events on the 28^th.
