New Marquette Law Poll Says Biden Widening Lead On Trump

After a number of stable
months for the Marquette Law School Poll, there’s been a big shift heading into
the November elections. Poll director Charles Franklin says Democrats are
starting to take a lead.

“We’ve seen very
stable polling through the spring, but this poll there’s a bigger move towards
Biden in this month’s poll in June we have Biden at 49% Trump at 41%, an eight
point margin with registered voters.”

Biden’s lead over President
Trump was around 3 percent in both March and May. President Trump’s approval
ratings are also continuing to slip on issues like his handling of COVID-19 and
the economy. According to the survey, f
ewer Republicans also said they would be voting for the
President.
