NFDL Ladder Truck Decision Coming Soon

Dates were set during this week’s North Fond du Lac Village Board meeting to discuss the possibility of buying a new ladder truck for the Fire Department. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says the board won’t make a decision until its Monday, March 21st meeting. He says there will be a workshop the Monday before that about the ladder truck. He says there is no board meeting scheduled on March 14th when the workshop will be held. He says a committee has been holding talks about the truck, which could cost in the neighborhood of $800,000. The committee will be holding the workshop. Board members will be attending it and they will make their decision at their March 21st meeting. Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue provides auto aid to the Village and recently supplied a ladder truck during the Dollar General fire.
