NFDL Man Put On Probation For Window Smashing Spree

A 21-year-old North Fond du Lac man who participated in a rash of car vandalism in Fond du Lac last September has been placed on probation for four years. Tony Sharratt was in Fond du Lac County Court this week. He pled “no contest” to criminal damage to property and felony bail jumping charges. In addition to the probation Judge Dale English sentenced Sharratt to 4 months in jail, 20 hours of community service for each year of probation, and his $2,500 cash bail was applied to restitution. Sharratt was one of three young men that rode around in a pickup truck last September 9th and used baseball bats to smash out windows of more than 60 vehicles in Fond du Lac. The other two were also previously placed on probation.
