NFDL School District Budget A Work In Progress

North Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says the next year’s District budget is a work in progress. He says it is hard to project an accurate picture with the state working on a two-year budget and not knowing what District aid will be. Still the School Board has to borrow until state aid starts coming in for the new academic year that begins in July. He says they use conservative figures to estimate what the District budget will look like. Sadoff says they plan on a two-year budget cycle. He says right now they are in pretty good shape. He says the budget is balanced this year and the next academic year they figure on a $100,000 deficit, which he says is manageable.
