NFDL School Parking Restriction Removed

The North Fond du Lac Village Board recently approved the removal of a two-hour parking limit for a street next to St. Paul’s School. The sign was just north of McKinley on Chapman Avenue. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says over the years the school changed where kids are dropped off and picked up at the school so the sign was no longer necessary. He says they contacted a couple of schools before putting together the ordinance change. He says they talked with people at the High School and St. Paul’s neither of which objected to the change. He says a resident had requested the removal of the parking prohibition. Parking had been limited to no more than two hours during school hours.
