NFDL Village Budget Discussed

The North Fond du Lac Village Board had a final discussion about the 2018 Village Budget this week. The $3.4 million budget calls for a tax rate that works out to $8.87 or about 16 cents more than for the current year. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says the only question asked during Monday night’s meeting was about their Tax Incremental District Budget. Part of the increase in costs is to give employees a raise, but other expenses went up as well. The board will approve the budget and tax levy, and capital improvement plan at their Monday, November 20th meeting.
