No Christmas Decorations On Wisconsin Avenue In NFDL This Season

The North Fond du Lac Village Board this week decided not to put up Christmas decorations on the seven or eight light poles on Wisconsin Avenue this season. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says that will allow them to put up decorations elsewhere in the village. Decorations will be going up at Yellowstone Trail Park and other areas that are more of a thoroughfare through the village. Hornung says the decorations they were using for Wisconsin Avenue were old and needed work and investing more money to try and salvage them for a few more years wasn’t practical.
