No News COVID-19 Cases In County For 2nd Straight Day

It’s a case of “no new news is good news” when it comes to the COVID-19 numbers in Fond du Lac County. According the County Health Department Dashboard, there were no new cases confirmed on Tuesday, which would make for the 2nd day in a row of zero cases, with the county now standing at 298 confirmed. There are 45 active cases, 247 recovered cases, and just over 8,800 negative tests. 2 County residents remain hospitalized due to coronavirus.

The total number of coronavirus tests reported by the Department of Health Services on Tuesday hit a new single-day high, totaling 11,794. And 2.2 percent of those 11,794 tests -- or 263 -- came back positive. That compared to 3.8 percent on Monday. The percentage was 3.8 percent or higher on four of the previous five days. Five additional deaths bring the total number of Wisconsin lives lost to 750 since the pandemic began. On Monday, the state passed 25,000 cases, and Tuesday's numbers from DHS brought that to 25,331, of which 78 percent have recovered. There were 37 additional hospitalizations reported Monday.

This is not the time to reduce vigilance. Wash your hands, wear your mask, stay away from crowds. We are all in this together.

Except those of us who are not. Tell me where it mandates I wear a mask and my punishment for not doing so? I'm sure it will be some lame moral social liberal mantra. Probably about saving the Wisconsin panda or something.

You have to do it or people will DIE. Except if you are a protestor and then its no problem.
