Oakfield Man Arrested For Road Rage Incident

North Fond du Lac Police helped Fond du Lac Police out with a road rage incident Monday night. North Fond du Lac Police Chief Darren Pautsch says the incident started out in Fond du Lac about 7 p.m. Monday evening. A 20-year-old Fond du Lac woman called 911 and reported a man had struck her vehicle and was trying to force her off the road. The woman pulled into Korneli’s Express on Prospect Avenue and the suspect was right behind her. North Fond du Lac Police Sergeant Michelle Fink pulled up behind the suspect who then pulled out and headed north on Prospect Avenue. Chief Pautsch says Sergeant Fink pursued the man who ended up driving up to the dead end on Winnebago Street near the Canadian National Railroad Yard. The man got out of his car and fled on foot, but was caught by Sergeant Fink and Fond du Lac Police Officer Brian Bednarek. The suspect, 31-year-old Joseph Aleman of Oakfield, was charged with operating while intoxicated 2nd offense, fleeing an officer and was cited by Fond du Lac Police for reckless driving endangering safety. He was taken to the County Jail.
