Omro Man Killed In Hit And Run Accident

Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials have released the name of the 21-year-old Omro man hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on County Highway E late Friday night. Jacob Case died at the scene of the accident. A dark-colored pickup truck was seen passing by the scene minutes before the accident was reported. A 21-year-old Omro man was killed late
Friday night when he was struck by a vehicle in the Town of Rushford. Winnebago
County Sheriff’s officials say when deputies arrived he was lying in the
roadway. First responders attempted life saving measures, but he died at the
scene. The hit-and-run accident happened on County Highway E and was reported at
11:43 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s office at
