One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-41
One person was killed
in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 41 in the Town of
Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just before Midnight near the
intersection with Highway 28. According to a press release, a man was driving a
pickup north in the southbound lanes of I-41 when he hit a southbound semi. The
pickup driver died at the scene, while the semi driver was flown to
in
with non-lifre threatening injuries. Southbound lanes of the highway were closed
for over five hours because of the crash – while northbound lanes were closed
for just over an hour while Flight for Life was on the ground. Names of those
involved have not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
