Oshkosh Man Accused Of Having Sex With Student Bound Over For Trial

The former instructional aide at the North Fond du Lac High School charged with seven felony counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff has been bound over for trial. Dominic Carmona was recently in Fond du Lac County Court for a preliminary hearing. Judge Robert Wirtz found probable cause to bind him over for trial.  The 45-year-old Oshkosh man had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl beginning last December 1st and ending at the end of January. The two allegedly met during a study hall and he gave her his cell phone number. He resigned from his position with the school district on February 3rd. He was a teacher at Horace Mann High School for nearly 5 years. Carmona has an arraignment and bail/bond hearing scheduled for next Monday.
