Oshkosh Police Arrest Murder Suspect

Police in Oshkosh arrested a 21-year-old Milwaukee man in Menominee Park late Tuesday evening on warrants for a murder in Milwaukee. Damonta Jennings was a passenger in a vehicle. Officers arrested him on warrants issued Monday for the May 5th, 2016 shooting death of a 9-year-old Milwaukee girl. She was struck by a stray bullet while sitting in her house. Jennings was taken to a local hospital for medical clearance before he was taken to jail.  Two other men had already been arrested for their roles in the girl’s death.
