Oshkosh Police Bust Meth Lab

Oshkosh Police busted a methamphetamine lab that was being run
out of a garage in the 1500 block of Central Street. Police learned early Friday
about the lab when Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 33-year-old
woman and 32-year-old man, both from Oshkosh, during a traffic stop for drug
possession. Washington County deputies informed them about the possibility of the lab. Oshkosh Police found chemicals needed to make meth in the garage on
Central Street.  The state’s Department of Criminal Investigation was asked to
assist in the investigation. Police say there is no threat to public health and
neighbors were contacted. A meth lab clean-up crew from Chicago, Illinois
disposed of the chemicals. Arrests are still pending for the possession of the
chemicals.
