Oshkosh Police Department Gets Accreditation

The Oshkosh Police Department received its 4th re-accreditation from the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG) at the Police Leadership Forum Conference held in the Wisconsin Dells on February 9th.

Lt. Kevin Konrad was also recognized as the WILEAG Accreditation Manager of the Year during the conference.

To maintain accredited status with WILEAG, the Oshkosh Police Department must prove compliance with approximately 44 accreditation standards. The Oshkosh Police Department has been accredited through WILEAG since 1999.

The Oshkosh Police Department is also nationally accredited through the Commission on Law Enforcement Accreditation Agency (CALEA) since 1999. To maintain national accreditation, the Oshkosh Police Department must show compliance with 362 applicable CALEA standards.
