Oshkosh Police Investigating Shooting

Update:

Oshkosh Police say a 47-year-old man who was shot in the head while sitting in his vehicle in a business parking lot was the victim of an armed robbery. He was taken from the rear parking lot of a business in the 600 block of North Main Street early Wednesday morning to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center and was later transferred to the UW-Hospital in Madison. Any businesses with video cameras in the area that may have captured video of the shooting is asked to contact Oshkosh Police.

Police in Oshkosh responded to the 600
block of North Main Street shortly after midnight this morning where they found
a 47-year-old man seated in a vehicle in a parking lot with a possible gunshot
wound to the head. The man had been shot with a small caliber handgun. He was
taken to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. Anyone with
information on the incident is asked to call Oshkosh Police at
