Over 200 Arrested For Drug Dealing In FDL In Past Couple Of Years

Ten more people were picked up in a drug sweep in Fond du Lac this week adding to a growing total of drug arrests. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says Police Chief Bill Lamb began an initiative in December of 2011 to go after those selling drugs in the City. Since then more than two hundred people have been arrested for selling drugs in the City. He says police took the offensive in doing something about the drug problem in the City. He says they also rely on the tips and information they get from citizens about suspicious activity. The ten who were picked up this week were arrested on cocaine and heroin trafficking charges. Anyone who sees what looks like drug activity can report it by calling (920) 906-5555 or the crime alert line at 322-3740
