Pay It Forward Event Allows Silica To Donate To Local Non Profits

Silica For Your Home recently distributed over 50 checks totaling over $6,800 to local charity organizations, thanks to their Pay It Forward Event.  During that event, Silica’s customers were given a discount as well as the opportunity to choose a local charity to whom Silica would forward a percentage of their sale too. 

Some of the charities include:  ARC of Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam Hillside Hospice, Campbellsport Fire Department, Dodge County Humane Society, Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Josephs Catholic Church Waupun, Watertown Humane Society and many more.

 

Silica has been involved in the Fond du Lac community for 94 years, the Beaver Dam community for 28 years and the Watertown community for 5 years.  “Keeping our donation dollars local is important to us because these organizations help our friends and neighbors” said Tom Schneider, president. “We are proud and thankful to be a part of the Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam and Watertown communities.  Supporting these organizations is a small token of our thanks, for all they do.”
