Plea Hearing Set for UW-Oshkosh Assault Suspect

One of the men accused in a series of assaults
near the UW-Oshkosh campus last month is set to enter a plea in Winnebago
County Court on Monday. 18-year old Nasir Jackson withdrew a motion on Friday – and
is scheduled for a preliminary hearing and plea hearing Monday morning.

 Jackson
and 20-year old Domonick Strope are each charged with three counts of
substantial battery and a count of theft as parties to a crime after allegedly
attacking students just off of campus around 1:00am the morning of September 8th

Police were able to track down Jackson through Snapchat, because he had
exchanged information with a victim before attacking the man and his
girlfriend.
