Plenty Of Kettles For Red Kettle Campaign

You might be hard pressed to avoid a red kettle somewhere in Fond du Lac County during the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign. This year the Fond du Lac Salvation Army is hoping to raise $160,000 through the campaign. Captain Steve Wilson of the Salvation Army says with stand-up kettles and counter top versions they will have over 100 red kettles out at different locations in the county. There are 17 stand-up kettle and 91 counter top versions. Money raised from the campaign helps fund programs the Salvation Army uses to serve the public such as their food pantry, brown bag lunch, a warming shelter and a variety of others.
