Police Prepare for National Night Out

Law enforcement agencies around our area – and around the country – are preparing for the National Night Out. The goal of the event is to bring the police and the community closer together.

North Fond du Lac Police Chief Darren Pautsch says “it’s a great opportunity to spend some time interacting in a positive way with, well not only kids – I’m guessing there’s going to be more than a couple of adults who decide they want to take a part in this thing as well. But an opportunity to hang out with some individuals and have a lot of fun while we’re doing it and I think it’ll be something people will be able to look back on and there will be some great memories.”

North Fond du Lac is joining the Fond du Lac Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, State Patrol, and DNR out at the Fond du Lac Fairgrounds Park for the event on August 7th. There will be tons of activities, including Police Car Karaoke and the chance to check out a Blackhawk helicopter.
