Presidential Recount Underway

The recount of the Presidential vote is underway in Fond du Lac County and other counties across Wisconsin. County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says there are costs associated with the recount and she hopes the County will be reimbursed for its full costs including paying those doing the recount. She figures it will be $25,000 to $30,000 to do the recount in the County. She says the recount in Fond du Lac County is being done by hand. She says the recount will show the machines are more accurate and more errors are made by humans. She says they also still have to count the ballots before they go into the machine. Freiberg says the recount in the County should be done by the end of next week, but they will have a better idea in the next few days how long the recount will take.
