Princeton Fire Being Treated As Homicide

A person of interest is in custody for a fatal fire in the City of Princeton. Princeton Police Chief Matthew Bargenquast (pictured) announced during a press conference Saturday that the person was taken into custody on a probation warrant in Florida. After a fire at 103 South Farmer Street early last  Monday morning the body of a woman was found in the home. An autopsy was conducted in Madison. Due to findings of the autopsy the death is being treated and investigated as a homicide. Next of kin won’t be notified until a positive identification of the body is made.
